Dogma blinds and masses rise,
Candles lit for eternal prize.
Needs of spirit have comfort here,
Book of death, hold it near.

Sacrifice long ago, needless torture, blow by blow,
Punished son, beaten, torn, see him there, dying slow
Nature's gift in angel born, viral plague through haloed thorns.
Breeding death from war and scorn, faith will perish in this storm.

Human nature, human kind,
Can we see or are we blind?
Life is never black or white,
See the grays and gain your sight

Stand up in your churches,
Singing empty hymns,
Passing the collection plate,
Fill it to the brim.

Money funds the massacres,
Graves filled with the dead,
Keep reciting verses while
Priests do things unsaid.

Icons stand for morals,
Don’t stray into sin.
Satan comes to take you,

Remember all the people,
Bombs strapped to their chests?
